2009 HOLIDAY NEWSLETTER AND RECIPE
Bob and I are celebrating twenty years together by taking an excursion to Rhode Island and see how the Mansions are doing. I've been there once in the summer.
It is a first for Bob. We will be taking notes and hopefully some photos to help us remember the Holiday decorations.
We found a sister B&B and will report back to everyone about our stay.
Meanwhile, we are busy getting our ski packages, fire wood and snow shovels ready for old man winter. Don't forget Jim Thorpe is winterized with
ski-slopes, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing, as well as a walk in the snow.
Our mid-week booking for winter will feature this delicious hot mulled beverage, and hot soakings in the claw-foot tubs.
Jim Thorpe's "Old Time Christmas Celebration" during the first two weekends in December will feature "our tree" once again as an attraction. This year's
donations will go to the Carbon County Friends of Animals.
It is not too early to book for Valentine's Day. We are doing it up the entire month of Feb. Check back for specials.
